Winter Bowls
Our winter bowls are held on Thursday and Saturday afternoons (weather permitting) commencing at 1.00pm sharp, names by 12.30pm. Both days are a mixed (men & ladies) event. This is a great way for Community bowls participants to improve and progress with their bowling, so come along and meet and play with some club bowlers. Oh! – bring a friend along.
Community Bowls
Community bowls is a great way to start playing bowls in a competition that doesn’t require previous experience. It is open to anyone in the community – friends looking to play some bowls together, or family, friends and neighbours of club members. It is played with teams of four, preferably with only one club bowler in each team, if you don’t have four players we can arrange players to fill your team. This event is held during the warmer months usually November – March each year. They are held on a Wednesday evening beginning with a sausage sizzle at 6pm and bowls commence at 6.30pm and end at around 8.30pm. There is a minimal cost and bowls are provided. You must wear flat sole shoes or play barefoot. Don’t be shy come along, just rock up or let us know you are coming, more details will be circulated closer to the event.
